WHAT WE DO

Transforming agricultural ecosystems & collaborating with smallholder farming communities.

Managed farmland

We identify medium-to-large scale agricultural land that has previously been used for industrial agriculture purposes and transform them into agave production using regenerative and agroforestry designs that improve soil health, water retention and biodiversity, while providing additional income sources through the complimentary crops.

Smallholder farming communities

We partner and co-invest with smallholder farmers, providing them all the inputs, training, and support necessary to grow agave and transition to more regenerative practices.

In exchange, these farmers contribute their land and labor to maintain their plots and crop. We split the harvest 50/50 with them at which point they have the option to sell their agave to the open market, via Proyecto Hijuelo, or make their own mezcal.

Our Promises

  • At least 20% of our production are wild species

  • Implement regenerative agriculture practices and reduce synthetic chemical inputs

  • Establish full traceability and supply chain transparency

  • Harvest and aggregate agave for offtakers providing a stable, secure, high quality supply
