    Fernando Elizundia - Managing Director

    Fernando co-founded and directed different organizations including ‘Somos Agua’ – an NGO that promotes universal access to drinking water in rural communities in Mexico. Fernando has experience in establishing logistics and distribution structures in rural Mexico. He has lived in Oaxaca since 2020 and since has been involved in community projects

    Cesar Cruz Herrera – Technical Supervisor

    Originally from Santa Ana del Rio. An indigenous Zapotec community specialized con the production of maguey and mezcal. His has a formation on Integrated Systems of Agricultural Production. He has over 15 years of experience in the management and cultivation of the crop.

  • Alejandro Lopez Musalem – Head of Agronomy

    Alejandro Lopez Musalem – Head of Agronomy

    Alejandro was the director of the ANP Lagunas de Chacahua on the coast of Oaxaca for 5 years. He has over 5 years working with small growers in Bolivia and Mexico. Alejandro also worked in the UK for ISEC promoting food globalization and was the director of Heifer international in Mexico for 10 years. Alejandro is a founder of ‘La Cañadas’ a leading center of agroecology research in Veracruz.

  • Yesenia Olivera Santiago – Technical Supervisor

    Yesenia Olivera Santiago – Technical Supervisor

    Yesenia studied agroecology engineering at the Autonomous University of Chapingo. She has over 6 years experience in the development of projects in rural and indigenous communities. Together with her family she founded ‘Colectivo Casahuate’, a project that promotes agroecological production in Etla, Oaxaca
